Adding a conservatory brings the outdoors, indoors and allows you to enjoy all year round sunshine. The addition of a Conservatory not only adds more habitable floor space to your home, but it as investment as the return will be evident upon the sale of your home when you will notice that your Conservatory has added a considerable sum to the value of your property.
We can deal with everything you need, from Planning Permission, if required, to the production of the Building Warrant application to achieve the required local Council approvals.
Your conservatory may fall within the new Permitted Development Guidelines, but this has strict limitations and you may still require Planning Permission for your new conservatory. This does not pose any issues, if it’s required or not, it’s a simple process we can deal with on your behalf from our first initial meeting and survey of your home to the issue of the completion certificate from the Council when the works is 100% complete.
You will always require a Building Warrant for your new Conservatory. This again is a very straight forward process and we can deal with everything on your behalf.
To give you an idea of timescales; if Planning Permission is required for your Conservatory, this will take up to 10 weeks from the submission of the original application, to the stage where it will be granted as the council put these applications through a rigorous screening and approval process, to which we will be in full time communication and will keep you posted every step of the way. During this time, your Building Warrant will also be processed and approved whilst we wait the Planning Permission for your Conservatory to be approved. If only a Building Warrant is required, then this will take around 4 weeks to be granted from the application submission.
