Late Building Warrant East Kilbride

A building warrant is needed for a lot of building works in East Kilbride. Unauthorised work that is completed will be subject of a late building warrant, this is essential if you want to sell your home.

It could be necessary to carry out a disruptive survey and/or remedial work to ensure that all of the work meets the relevant standards. If there is remedial work required then this will be required before we provide a letter of comfort that confirms that we will not take action in relation to the work.

Those in East Kilbride who require a late building warrant may find the process to be complicated, especially if you are unfamiliar with the system. At Archi Plan Glasgow, we are on hand to simplify the entire process for you.

When you get in touch with us you can expect us to carry out a full measurement survey of your home and produce a set of existing scale drawings along with a full set of proposed scale drawings. These drawings will be accompanied by an ordnance survey map that highlights your property and we will complete the council’s application form and submit all of the information for review.

It takes roughly four weeks for the council to review the plans and arrange to come out to your home in East Kilbride, this is so that they can take a look at the work. This is then followed by the release of the completion certificate.

Throughout the entire process, we will keep you up to date with all of the developments whilst your application goes through the process, acting as your appointed agent from the outset.
