Letter Of Comfort Glasgow

a archiplan 4A letter of comfort is a letter from Glasgow City Council that states that action won’t be taken in regards of specified works that have either:

  • Been started without the required building warrant being obtained
  • Been carried out with a building warrant but there was no certificate of completion obtained before the warrant expired

.

A letter of comfort will only be issued to you after there has been a satisfactory inspection carried out.

Generally people in Glasgow who are selling their homes may be asked to get a letter of comfort, this is because the bank the potential buyer is using will want to make sure that the structure and integrity of the property is in a good working order.

Here at Archi Plan Glasgow we specialise in providing drawings that are used for a letter of comfort. We have been offering this service to homeowners for several years now and have built up an excellent reputation due to the quality of our service.

Our process starts with us coming out to your home to carry out a full measurement survey. At this point you’ll be given a free quote for the service and if you are happy to go ahead then we can arrange to get started on the work.

You’ll then be able to use the drawing(s) and fill out the application and it can be sent away to the council where they will make a decision as to whether or not they are going to approve the work.
